Wings Over Camarillo
In 2019, we founded and hosted the first Wings Over Camarillo Off-Season Competition that took place at the Camarillo Airport. This competition was in partnership with the Gold Coast Robotics Alliance (GCRA). It was an amazing opportunity to open up a competition with an event that was completely free for teams to register. It was a great way for other teams to be included in an off-season competition, gain experience in competitions, and it really made them feel like they were a part of a community through our hosted program. We received immensely positive feedback from this event.
In 2021, we organized an off-season demonstration and invited teams to join us in inspiring the children of Ventura County. Teams showed off skills in the practice field in the STEM Pavilion. While Team 3925 also allowed kids to practice driving the robots or play catch by tossing a large, rubber ball to our favorite bot, Kowalski.

NPR Science Friday
We have been featured on Science Friday, an NPR talk show focused on spreading education on nature, science, and technology. Team 3925 was invited to display our robot and swag for outreach at the Thousand Oaks Civic Center in 2019.
Yardi Non-Profit Showcase
Yardi, a global technology company, hosted us at their non-profit showcase. We entertained and informed employees at their Oxnard office about our team and how we promote STEAM in the Ventura County region. Our 2018-19 season robot, Kowalski, showed of its performance skills and our drive & business teams tabled at the event.
Made In Ventura
Local manufacturing companies held a meet-up at Ventura College where we set up an outreach table. We networked and encouraged volunteerism and mentorship relationships with our class.
Ventura FLL Tournament
We recently hosted the annual First Lego League, FLL, tournament at Ventura High School. This program encouraged many kids to engage in the field of robotics and STEAM. This FLL tournament was successful, thanks to our many volunteers and participants. We also gave the young students tours that took place throughout our campus and our on-campus robotics facilities. We did our best to show the next generation of robotics students what it means to be a part of the 3925 family.
Walk 4 Water Event
Team 3925 Circuit of Life is focused on STEM, community service and creating strong leaders. In 2021, the team walked four miles to bring awareness to the walk 4 water that occurs around the world. People struggle to get to clean, safe drinking water.
